All locations are all close to downtown where you can walk, run, bike or bus back to the central location with the exception of the first two legs. If you are running the first leg at Lake Padden, you can have someone from your team drop you off or you can take a free shuttle we are providing that leaves The Depot Market Square (across from Boundary Bay Brewery) at 8:00, 8:20 and 8:40. It holds 15 people per trip and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and only available to runners doing the first leg.
If you finish at Stones Throw Brewery (Leg 1) there is a bus from Fairhaven to downtown Bellingham at 9:23 and 9:53 Sunday morning. Catch bus #1 at 10th and McKenzie, fare is $1.
All other breweries are either downtown or within 1 mile of downtown.
Aside from the fact that this is a beer-centric event, some locations simply don’t allow folks under 21 years old. Sorry kids!
It’s a simple, 40 step process, as outlined below.
Just kidding. It’s not terribly difficult but it will require you to gather some info before registering.
1. Get your team information ready. This includes names, birthdates, legs each person will be running and emergency contact info.
2. Head to the registration site using the link on this site.
3. Click the Create a Team and fill in a name.
4. Choose the Register 1 or more participants option.
5. Fill out your information and choose the leg or legs you want to run and add them to your cart.
6. Click next.
7. Click Complete and add another participant.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 until your entire team is added.
9 Click Complete and Proceed to Cart.
Once you’ve finished your leg, head to the relay table to grab your 3 drink tokens. Each token gets you a 4oz pour of anything you want at the brewery you’re in right now or at the Trails to Taps Relay party at Depot Market Square. You’ll get your commemorative pint glass at the party at Depot.

We don’t have a system that allows drop-in runners for individual legs, but there is a facebook group page to help find a team needing runners! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1982342841829319/
In an effort to help organize payment throughout a full team, our registration allows you to create a team and pay for your leg individually.
You can have 5 to 10 runners on each team.
Please keep in mind that transportation from one leg to another is not provided. If you’re hoping to allow runners to leap frog “ragnar” style, please organize your legs in a way that makes it easy for you to get from one start location to another.
Ideally, each runner on a 5 runner team will have consecutive legs to run. i.e. Runner 1 has legs 1 and 2, Runner 2 has legs 3 and 4, et cetera.
